It is designed and manufactured to retard fire hazards. The hardwood veneers are chemically treated to make them fire retardant. These chemicals delay the ignition and prevent spread of fire. PF resin is used to bond the veneers.

It has a variety of applications like roofs, boiler houses, ship cabins, wall linings, kitchen, exhibition stalls, auditoriums, and vehicle bodies etc.
